Let's play "Noughts and Crosses"

"Noughts and Crosses" is a two-player game. Usually, one player is Xs, and the other is Os. However, this game is red onions versus white onions.

How to Play. Players take turns to draw their mark (either X or O) on the 3 x 3 grid.

Aim. The first player to place three of their marks (either 3 Xs or 3 Os) in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line is the winner.

Messaging. If you want, you can tease your opponent by sending them messages.

How it works...

• Select one of your friends to be your opponent (i.e., Player 2).
• Create a lobby (a unique communication channel between you and Player 2).

Your unique lobby ID is getting ready....

• Send Player 2 an invite to join your lobby and wait for them to join.
• Player 1 starts the first game with the first move. Thereafter, players take it in turns to start the games.
• Important! You must follow these steps in order:
• Step 1. Player 1 creates a lobby.
• Step 2. Player 1 waits for the lobby to be created. (This takes less than a few seconds.)
• Step 3. Player 1 invites Player 2 with this URL:

• Step 4. Player 2 joins the lobby. (This also takes less than a few seconds.)

Just follow the steps in the set-up panel.

• The connection status panel will state "connected" and the heart icon will pump steadily.
• Once connected, Player 1 makes the first move.
